Privacy Policy — Barnest

This app ("Barnest", "we", "us") is installed on Shopify stores to display configurable announcement bars, countdown timers, and related banners on the storefront. This policy explains what data we collect and how it's used.

What we collect

We store the following data, scoped to your shop (not your customers):

• Your shop's domain (e.g. yourstore.myshopify.com)
• Your current subscription/billing status with this app
• The OAuth access token needed to make authenticated API calls on your behalf
• The announcement bar configuration you set in the Shopify Theme Editor (stored by Shopify itself as theme settings, not by us)

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect, store, or process any data about your customers — no names, emails, order history, browsing behavior, or any other personally identifiable information. The app has no visibility into your customers at all.

Data retention

Shop-level data described above is retained for as long as the app is installed. If you uninstall the app, this data is permanently deleted within 48 hours, in compliance with Shopify's data protection requirements.

Third parties

We do not sell, rent, or share your shop's data with any third party. Billing is processed entirely through Shopify's own Billing API — we never see or store payment card details.

Your rights

You can request details of what we store, or request deletion, at any time by contacting us at support@quikbench.com. Uninstalling the app also triggers automatic deletion of all shop-level data as described above.
